Standing here now you wash over me
Screeching fear and how you pull me near

Here in prayer and you’re creeping complications
Did you give up punk for Lent in your heart heaven sent

Count Noel, Jonah, and me

You’re twisting to feel and I’m scared
And you’re thinking to feel and I’m scared
And you’re twisting feel

I’m a square and that makes you giddy
Hey you there do you have
It’s your prayer and how
Standing here now you wash over me

Count Noel, Jonah, and me

General CommentI always thought the words were, "Hey you there, dude, do you have some news." I like to think it's a reference to David Bowie's/Mott the Hoople's "All The Young Dudes." I've watched a few videos of Rebecca Gates doing this song and it looks to me like that's what she's saying. Not that that would make the meaning of the lyrics any clearer. I have no idea what they mean. I just think it's cool when one song makes reference to another.
