"Pick Up The Peices" as written by and Ian Thomas/blackburn Ball....
Pick up the pieces and well throw them away
Throw them away and replace them
Bring on the blues now, and well chase them away
Chase them away, celebration

All that I want is for you to be there when I call
And after all I know you will be there
Youll be there after all

Bring on the band now, set them playing away
And if they stay, well then embrace them
Bring on the people, we can dance and well play
Lets dance the night away, celebration

All that I want is for you to be here when I fall
And after all I know you will be here
Youll be here after all

Theres only one thing it can be
Theres only one thing it can be
Theres only one thing it can be
Theres only one thing it can be

General CommentThis is one of my favorite Gomez songs. It's unfortunate that it wasn't on the main album, because more people need to hear it. It sounds more structured (like their newer stuff) than what they did on the first album, which is my guess as to why it was a b-side instead.

If you happen upon this link by mistake, I urge you to seek and listen to this gem ;)
