Two plus two
Me and you
Strolling down the avenue
I never knew that this was meant to be

And all the times we looked into each others eyes
I did it again, I did it again, I did it for you

Holding on
To a song
I guess it's time we passed it on
'Cause one of us keeps changing every day

And all the times we told each other little lies
I did it again, I did it again, I did it for you

How long before we learn to let love fly away?
How long before we learn to live another day?
Whoa-oa

And all the times we broke our hearts to spite ourselves
I did it again, I did it again, I did it for you

How long before we learn to let love fly away?
How long before we learn to live another day?
Oh-oh
Oh-oh

You and me

General CommentA great pop tune, it's too bad that it didn't turn up on Maladroit. I hope that it gets recorded again sometime for album 5 or maybe 6.

General CommentTo me, this song is for people that love someone, but know that if a relationship or anything ever happened then it would probably ruin everything. the line "How long before we learn to let love fly away?" tells that, and also "all the times we broke our hearts despite ourselves". basically the whole song just explains that point. I think its a great song, and I hope it becomes a B-side.

General CommentThis song is great - the melody is fantastic and the lyrics are pretty good too. would have been nice to see it on maladroit, but i guess it just wasn't meant to be...ah well
