"With A Little Help From My Friends" as written by John Lennon and Paul Mccartney....
What would you do if I sang out of tune
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song
And I'll try not to sing out of key

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away
(Does it worry you to be alone?)
How do I feel by the end of the day
(Are you sad because you're on your own?)

No, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

Do you need anybody
I need somebody to love
Could it be anybody
I want somebody to love

Would you believe in a love at first sight
Yes, I'm certain that it happens all the time
What do you see when you turn out the light
I can't tell you but I know it's mine

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

Do you need anybody
I
Could it be anybody
I want somebody to love

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
with a little help from my friends

General CommentI must agree with the above comment. Though the Beatles are undeniably awesome, I feel that this version adds more soul to the song. Listen to him scream! That man feels it. Plus, I like his tempo and phrasing better.

General CommentI love this song. However, I like the Beatles(or Sgt Peppers as they call it) version of the song better. Ringo has a better more deep meaningful voice for it.

General CommentSee this song in the WOODSTOCK DVD...it`s amazing!!!!!!! Joe Cocker has this deep voice and I think that the sgt peppers version doesn't feel right compared to Joe's version!!!!!

General Commentjosephwolf; do you have anything meaningful to say?
You've already posted that comment twice......Once under another song.

Anyway I love this song. His voice is full of soul and I agree that his cover captures me moreso than the Beatles version.
