[It took the people, at least here in Sweden, about two years to turn what used to be luxury into a way of life. Suddenly nothing will be the same again and no one can ever picture himself without one. Well baby, pick up the phone. ]

Addicts of communication
Addicts of communication
Addicts of communication,
I need to communicate with you

090-45776 -- Useless
Hey baby pick up the phone I know that you're home - Useless
You know I don't like talking to your answering-machine - Useless
Well can I send you an e-mail, let you know how I feel - Useless

We're the useless generation
In this world of information
We're the - useless - generation,
Baby pick up the phone

Addicts of communication
Addicts of communication
Addicts of communication
I need to communicate, hello!

Well nothing, I'm just watching T.V. - Useless
Looking for something so shallow that it's worth to see - Useless
They're making belgian waffels in the U.S.A. - Useless
A buddy from the internet told me that the other day - Useless

We're the useless generation
In this world of information
We're the - useless - generation,
Baby pick up the phone

Addicts of communication
Addicts of communication
Addicts of communication,
I need to communicate - with you
Addicts of communication - oh! pick up the phone
Addicts of communication - Oh! baby, baby, please
Addicts of communication,
I need to communicate with you
I need to communicate with you
I need to communicate
But it's useless

well, you're just the little punk-wannabe, aren't you "sk8erpunk"? first of all, i doubt you even listened to the song. secondly "real punk" wouldn't be anti-flag, because "real punk" is only for losers like you who give two shits about what other losers like you consider to be "real punk." skaters don't even belong in the punk scene in the first place. the only thing they ever did was bring in the damn hip hop influence and promote some shitty bands that shouldn't have been there in the first place. so why don't you skate your little ass out of here and go listen to your anti-flag shit, drink a pepsi, and then complain about how corporations exploit the workers in korea.

Fishpunk's definetely right but Anti-Flag is a cool band, too. Well in a way most skaters are fuckin stupid but just the fact you skate doesn't maen you shouldn't listen to punk. Anyway RANDY is such an awesome band. Have you ever seen 'em play live? If they come over to the US don't ever dare to miss 'em cuz that would be the biggest fault of your life. Apart from some exceptions (I'm not vegetarian nor am I a sozialist) I agree to their attitudes and lyrics, they're really great. At live-shows they're able to create such a certain atmosphere that I'm sometimes scared of them cuz I think they can make you believe anything they want.

If anyone who has ever seen 'em live reads this, please tell me what you think of that.

I've seen Randy live, but there were only about 25 people at the front making any type of pit (thankfully I was in the small pit). I think this was because Randy were supporting The Hives and most of the people there were just there to be trendy. Randy even started to insult the crowd's lack of interest in them. I think this song is about how much information we get in the modern world, yet most of it is useless and there is still a lack of useless information.

I like anti-flag very much. They are one of my favourite bands. I think that they really bbelieve in what they say. They are very nice and kind with people who come to talk to 'em. that's all. I don't like randy very much, but I like this song because, this summer, a friend and I think that you can find more and more useless peeople in france, and useless things to do. so we find this song funny. that's all!

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
