"Just Go" as written by and Michael J. Mushok....
I'm kinda numb
It's so distorted
You left me here with this damage that you've caused
My tortured faces
I've fucked up places
In my memories none of them I've lost but

I haven't been here long enough to know
Every time I feel this I just lose control
Such a cancer on the face of everything that's beautiful
I wish that this would just go go.

It's kinda sick
I feel so dirty
I'm kinda tragic kinda insecure
But I know that I'm the only
One that can fix whatever's wrong I'm sure, but

I haven't been here long enough to know
Every time I feel this I just lose control
Such a cancer on the face of everything that's beautiful
I wish that this would just go, go.

I feel so alone
From all I've become
I'll take you down
I'll feel so down
I'm water while you drown
You're lifted while I'm down
I'm cancer in your womb
I'm the needle in your spoon, but

I haven't been here long enough to know
Every time I feel this I just lose control
Such a cancer on the face of everything that's beautiful
I wish that this would just go, go.

Just [Repeat x2]
Just go
Go

All these fucking (lies)[Repeat x3]
All your fucking (lies) [Repeat x3]

General CommentIt kills me that only a fracton of the people commeting on Staind are commenting on thir older stuff. Compared to Break The Cycle, Dysfunction and Tormented are o much better, it hurts.

Anyways, about the song. Beautiful, dark, angry, resentful, hateful... all those perfect emotions coming together to make this perfect song.

General Commentthis is one of my favorite staind songs, and sol8nc8, you're right, dysfunction and tormented are so much better, but anyway...

i think this song was about aaron being abused, it seems like verbally, but it could be physically, i never thought about it as a connection to a girl. i always thought he was wanted revenge on the bastard that put him into this place in his head. i could support it w/ "i'm water while you drown..." etc, etc. i think what he wants to "just go" is the memories of the abuse...i could be wrong though...

General Commenti think this song is about a chick fucking his mind up and none of the memories will ever fade and she left him to remember she lied to him and treated him like shit and it will stay with him and he feels dirty because of it

General CommentHe's being haunted by a painful memory that he doesn't want to carry with him. As a result, it's hard to see the beautiful things in the world without thinking of the negative things about them.

    Black is the dominant color.
