Don't say that you said
Everything I said not to say
I know you don't remember that
I know you won't remember this
But from now on I only tell lies

I know your word is no good
As long as it's understood
So far as you realize I only tell lies
I don't tell my secrets anymore
It should be no surprise
That I don't tell my secrets anymore
I only tell lies

If only you knew all the damage that you can do
Now you'll need a photograph
A signature and witnesses
Cuz form now on I only tell lies
You'll need someone to confess
An educated guess
Or see it with your own eyes
I only tell lies

I used to say not just to came to mind casually
But all those things that no one else could ever know of me

Now I don't tell my secrets anymore
It should be no surprise
That I don't tell my secrets anymore
I only tell lies

I'll tell you every intimate moment without sparing a detail
But this I truly must confide
I don't tell my secrets anymore
I only tell lies

Someday it'll come back to you
All those things that you think are true
Are all wearing a clever disguise
I only tell lies

I used to say not just what came to mind casually
But all those things that no one else would ever know of me

Now I don't tell my secrets anymore
It should be no surprsie that i don't tell my secrets anymore
I only tell lies
Now I don't tell my secrets anymore
You'll see it in my eyes
That I don't tell my secrets anymore
I only tell lies

General CommentWell, this is probably one of the easier songs to figure out, but whatever, the comment box was lonely! Someone that he would confide in with very personal things, broke his trust, and told someone else everything he had said not to say, and as a result, he's decided to only ever tell lies. "Someday it'll combe back to you..." He believes one day, it'll bite them in the butt, for lack of a better phrase, because they basically would have spread lies.
