"Grandpa (Tell me 'bout the good ol' days)" as written by and Jamie O'hara....
Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Sometimes it feels like this world's gone crazy
And Grandpa, take me back to yesterday
When the line between right and wrong
Didn't seem so hazy

Did lovers really fall in love to stay
And stand beside each other, come what may?
Was a promise really something people kept
Not just something they would say and then forget
Did families really bow their heads to pray
Did daddies really never go away?
Oh, Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days

Grandpa, everything is changing fast
We call it progress, but I just don't know
And Grandpa, let's wander back into the past
And paint me the picture of long ago

Did lovers really fall in love to stay
And stand beside each other, come what may?
Was a promise really something people kept
Not just something they would say and then forget
Did families really bow their heads to pray
Did daddies really never go away?
Oh, Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Oh, Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days

General CommentI love this song it says so much and touches your heart. It makes you wish you could go back to those good ole days and live again. It's simple but to the point and I think it's wonderful...Love, Love, Love. Char

General CommentThis song is out of this world -it's never played on the radio though. It makes you want to go back, to what life was like when our grandparents were kids. Sometimes, it feels like our world has gone way too crazy.
