"Confide In Me" as written by Steven John Anderson, Owain Anthony Barton and David Charles Seaman....
I stand in the distance
I view from afar
Should I offer some assistance
Should it matter who you are

We all get hurt by love
And we all have our cross to bear
But in the name of understanding now
Our problems should be shared

Confide in me
Confide in me

I can keep a secret
And throw away the key
But sometimes to release it
Is to set our children free

We all get hurt by love
And we all have our cross to bear
But in the name of understanding now
Our problems should be shared

Confide in me
Confide in me
Confide in me
Confide in me

Stick or twist, the choice is yours
Hit or miss, what's mine is yours
Stick or twist, the choice is yours
Hit or miss, what's mine is yours

We all get hurt by love
And we all have our cross to bear
But in the name of understanding now
Our problems should be shared

Confide in me
Confide in me
Confide in me
Confide in me

Confide in me
Confide in me
Confide in me
Confide in me

General CommentWut!? Nobody's said anything about this great PoP song?! Dude . . . This is an awesome song by Kylie, one of the better ones that she sang from this time. This is basically about someone that you can trust and tell all ur problems to. When u had a bad break up or anything like that, or are emotional hurt, u can "confide" in her, and she'll listen. BUT SHE IS HOTT! o yea!

General Commentone of my favourite post-break-up songs. very simple meaning but it's a comforter in all means. the song was taken from kylie's first album on deConstuction. i feel that the public wasn't ready for the switch of sound, she went from a very poppy sound into a more mature and clubbier sound. the production work by brothers in rhythm make this one of my all time favourites

General CommentThis is a sad dark song... the singer in desperate trying to convince the other party- a lover, a friend, a family member... somebody she cares about,or even a plain stranger she came across in a bar or park etc. and happened to have a conversation about thier frustrations, fears, and doubts.. - to confide in her and trust her intentions to help.

But I really have a very foggy interpretation for these two lines:
    But sometimes to release it
Is to set our children free

    any idea?
