"Repressed" as written by Eicca Toppinen, Max Cavalera and Matt Tuck....
Lies, deprication of self.
Moral demise.
The corporate machine of america.
"In god we trust"

Statement of political banter.
Plastic words for a plastic nation.
Bred to live the american dream.
Elderly parents in institutions.

Billions of dollars for the promotion of
Cutting edge abortionary practices.
Prayer in schools has been replaced with condoms.
The value of quality family time has regressed

To the television's filth and sexual innuendo.
Repressed.
Our forefathers established this nation,
Under the grace of God.

In all his provisions.
Why we are so richly blessed.
Our Father,
Deliver us

General Commentthis song is a great Zao song. One of the classics and one of my faviorte Zao songs. I just hope the band doesn't decide to call it quits completely after the fight they had on stage and broke up. But now they have cut another cd that comes out soon and i can't wait to get it.

General CommentI've always loved this song. Classic Zao. Probably the best off that cd. The meaning of this song is clear: America isn't perfect, in fact it's downright hypocritical, and if we dont do something soon, our sin will multiply, as will our damnation. BLESS GOD, AMERICA!
