"Stuck with Me" as written by Billie Joe Armstrong, Frank E. Wright and Michael Pritchard....
I'm not part of your elite
I'm just alright
Class structure waving colors
Bleeding from my throat
Not subservient to you I'm just alright
Down classed by the powers that be
Give me loss of hope

Cast out, buried in a hole
Struck down, forcing me to fall
Destroyed, giving up the fight
Well, I know I'm not alright

What's my price and will you pay it if it's alright?
Take it from my dignity
Waste it until it's dead
Throw me back into the gutter
'Cause it's alright
Find another pleasure fucker
Drag them down to hell

Cast out, buried in a hole
Struck down, forcing me to fall
Destroyed, giving up the fight
Well, I know I'm not alright

Cast out, buried in a hole
Struck down, forcing me to fall
Destroyed, giving up the fight
Well, I know I'm not alright

General Commenti love this song cause its about people that think their better than you. he's getting pissed about society's class system and he sarcasitcally tells the 'cool people' to step all over him (basically says fuck you). this song is def. 1 of their best

General CommentHow can this be one of their worst?

I didn't like this song the first few times I heard it, mainly because I never really heard it before, now its one of my favorite Green Day songs.

General CommentThe title of this song comes from a studio mix-up during the recording session, in which the titles of 2 songs were accidentally switched. This song was titled "Do Da Da," and there was another song called "Stuck With Me," in which that lyric actually did appear. Someone in the studio messed up and labeled track #3 on Insomniac as "Stuck With Me." This was never corrected, and they just went with the switched titles.

General Commentthis is my favorite green day song. I never liked it that much until i read the lyrics. I know what it means to be "just alright." Im always that dude that the girl just thinks is alright and all u do is spend ur time trying to impress her. But to her your just alright. even tho u dont feel alright. this song speaks to me, and i love it

General Commenti can so relate to this song, i think it means that you act like you are alright although your not, and how people can use you and how they think they are better than you, i get that all the time. - i love the line
