"What's My Age Again?" as written by and Tom/hoppus De Longe....
I took her out, it was a Friday night
I wore cologne to get the feeling right
We started making out and she took off my pants
But then I turned on the TV

And that's about the time she walked away from me
Nobody likes you when you're twenty three
And I'm still more amused by TV shows
What the hell is A.D.D.?
My friends say I should act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?

Then later on, on the drive home
I called her mom from a pay phone
I said I was the cops
And your husband's in jail
The state looks down on sodomy

And that's about the time that bitch hung up on me
Nobody likes you when you're twenty three
And I'm still more amused by prank phone calls
What the hell is call ID?
My friends say I should act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?

And that's about the time she walked away from me
Nobody likes you when you're twenty three
And you still act like you're in freshman year
What the hell is wrong with me?
My friends say I should act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?

That's about the time she broke up with me
No one should take themselves so seriously
With many years ahead to fall in line
Why would you wish that on me?
I never want to act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?

What's my age again?

General CommentHe says Please Stay Wendy because the song was originally titled "Peter Pan Complex". (Peter Pan never grew up, and this song is about Mark not growing up.) They later changed the name of the song to "What's My Age Again?" because they figured that a lot of people wouldn't understand it. Oh and before flaming my comment, look it up, you'll see that I'm right.

General CommentYou People Obviously Dont Know Who This Is About. If You Listen Closely You Will Hear Tom Then Mark Say "Please Stay Wendy" In The Backround . It Is About The Girl Mark Was In Love With, That Worked With Him At His Record Label, Unfortunately She Wasnt In Love With Him. Thats Also Who "WENDY Clear" is About Too.

My OpinionFrom what I can tell, the song is about not wanting to grow up, and the repercussions of not growing up. I can relate. Half the time, I'm serious, but the other half I act like a kid. Hey, it's fun, no one should ever wish me to grow up, stop telling me to, let time take its course and I will eventually turn out. No one should ever want to grow up.
