Kissed inhibition goodbye
She blankly stared,
Understandably scared
In some cellar of celibacy
She yielded to me
Framed my poetry

But the well’s drying up now
Crapshoot for the crown

Blood
A dry sponge morale
Not one red page
Dreams plead rage
She blew the conch of my consciousness
My futile distress call
Up in the downfall

But the well’s drying up now
Crapshoot for the crown

Kissed inhibition goodbye
She blankly stared,
Understandably scared
In some cellar of celibacy
She yielded to me
Framed my poetry

But the well’s drying up now
Crapshoot for the crown

General Commentis there any way of correcting the lyrics? The second verse is pretty much all wrong, it's "she yielded to me from my poetry" and "but the world's drying up now" as well. Anyway, this is a great song, available on the capdown (kickass band)/Link 80 split EP, and the "rumours, ridicule and the profit motive" sampler, both on Household name records, both of which I would recommend

General CommentYou know what's funny about the "wrong" lyrics is that the lyrics posted are from the insert of the Lesdystics split which came out before the capdown split, so they're not wrong, they're just not what you've heard.
