An empty gaze reflects the contradiction
Alleged strength, so fragile
No more than compassion

Ephemeral gatherings without interaction
Be sincere and announce your departure

A vallum of fairy tales smashed into reality
Projected on the ruins of a castle in the air

General CommentI think it is about a Life that is born, lives, and dies all in one day. Like an organism.

General CommentI love this song! It makes me melancholy. OK, so this is about a person who has been a faker and been deceiving everybody. Now nobody believes in them. The "ephemeral gatherings without interaction" is just life. We gather on this earth and leave but never really interact, expecting all truth to be revealed when we die, and thus hide everything about us. The contradictions within, the grandeur speaking's being just a mask for ambivalence, and our easy change from love to hate. The lies that we've been told collide with the reality and what's left is just remnants of a so called paradise. A lot of their beginning stuff is about lies, hiding, fear, and the truth (which can be irritating). I like it!

General CommentOf course, on a more literal note, it sounds like a funeral to me. "ephemeral gatherings without interaction" people came for funeral but can't say anything, just staring and showing their emptiness. announcements are done by the priest and family. The person did this and this and this, but at the end, we all say "s/he died" and that smashes in reality. So true.
