i'm over and i'm out. i'm loud and i'm clear. i'm over and i'm out. i'm loud and clear. all my hands and teeth are getting off soon. the cat's already at the faucet, the girls are in bed, and i know you, you'll come home from work. all cool violence and smiles. quiet as time and twice as handy. quiet as time and twice as handy. didn't you love me goddamning evey mirror behind every goddamn bar, my easy aloof through tilt and clatter? my integrity in tennis shoes? the combs would know a gorgone before the mirror. in time hands can change a face, but only lose all second chances. of all you could've been but can't. blind as miles and quiet as time. i'm over and i'm out. loud and i'm clear. i'm over and i'm out. loud and i'm clear. i'm over and i'm out. loud and i'm clear.

General Commentone of my favorite songs ever. the beggining is so good. the riffs are great. the you come home from work riff/lyrics are excellent. wish i was older and knew about them earlier so i coulda seen them in concert. so dissapointing. bands like this, promise ring, cap'n jazz. AMERICAN FOOTBALL! never can see them. Those bands are so freaking good. aight peace.

General Commentthe title is a reference to the beauty bar - a hipster bar on 14th in nyc. there is also one on mission in san francisco.
