"Nothing Else" as written by Darius Keeler and Roya Arab....
My Angel! Clipped wings, I know.
Wanders in darkness, on grimy ground.
In a forest, unclean, unsound.
Everything, everything's gone wild.
Make land for the cows to graze,
leaflets scatter around to advertise.

A swamp, in it hands streched out
to catch a passing dime.
Donations to the rich,
widened opavements for the poor,
somewhere else to lie.
But my friend the carriage door
stands slightly ajar,
and I know clipped wings make uneasy flight,
but we've gotta reach!

A place where the feast never ends,
when the music celebrates.
In a time when darkness belongs
to night's skies and
nothing else.

Tomorrow my spirit's seen,
fears today my mind,
soul aches to deep,
always craves my body to reach

A place where the feast never ends
a moment when the music celebrates
and a time where darkness belongs to night's skies and
nothing else!

General CommentThis is an amazing song... I'm surprised it has no comments.

It almost seems like it starts off describing a dark place, as if they're stuck in a shitty situation with a very bleak outlook. But then with the chorus, if you look at is as including the previous line, "We've got to reach a place where the feast never ends" and "a time when darkness belongs to night skies and nothing else". It sounds like she's saying we've gotta kinda hold our head up and press forward until we find a better life, until we find happiness. Dakrness belonging to the night sky and nothign else, I would imagine means basically that our lives aren't filled with darkness. the 'darkness' is all way off in the sky, away from us, not touching or polluting our lives.
tl;dr we're in a hell hole now, but if we hold on and don't give up, everythign will get better.

Song MeaningI think the song is about human mankind industrializing, destroying nature just for the need to reach pefection and happiness in life. Land has been roded and pluged. The earth is ready for "sellout". And why all this?
To become rich ("catch a passing dime") and increase human's wealth. Industrialization shall make us worry no more, celebrate life. All the things we feared will be gone. If only the world would be so perfect.
