Moonlight...
Moonlight...
Moonlight...
Moonlight...
Moonlight Shadow *repeats*

The last that ever she saw him,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
He passed on worried and warning,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Lost in a riddle that Saturday night,
Far away on the other side.
He was caught in the middle of a desperate fight
And she couldn't find how to push through.

The trees that whisper in the evening,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Sing a song of sorrow and grieving,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
All she saw was a silhouette of a gun,
Far away on the other side.
He was shot six times by a man on the run
And she couldn't find how to push through.

[ Chorus ]

I stay, I pray
See you in heaven far away.
I stay, I pray
See you in heaven one day.

Four a.m. in the morning,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
I watched your vision falling,
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Stars roll slowly in a silvery night,
Far away on the other side.
Will you come to talk with me this night,
But she couldn't find how to push through.

[ Repeat Chorus ]

Moonlight
Moonlight
Moonlight
Moonlight
Moonlight
Moonlight Shadow

*repeats during instrumental break*

Caught in the middle of a hundred and five.
The night was heavy and the air was alive,
But she couldn't find how to push through.

Carried away by a moonlight shadow.
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.

General Comment This song actually means a lot to me, considering that I'm one of those depressed people who doesn't know what love is, and will never experience such a beautiful thing. Anyways!, as I was saying, this song... well, obviously, she's upset, cause her lover was killed! I would be too, who wouldn't? But..... I don't how to explain this!

General CommentHad anyone heard the remake of this song by Groove Coverage?? It's damn cool, but the part where it goes "caught in the middle of one hundred and five and all the rest of it is cut out of that version. I wonder why.

General CommentThis has got to be my favorite song now, I can (and will) Listen to it over and over again just to get it stuck in my head for when i go to work. But anyway E-Rotic's version (if its legit) Is also good and really similar. But Mike Oldfield's original kinda stinks after hearing this version.

Anyway i think most of the song is pretty obvious as to what its about, except for the hundered and five, which im not sure what it means...
