"Danger Zone" as written by Giorgio Moroder, Kenny Loggins and Tom Whitlock....
Revvin' up your engine
Listen to her howlin' roar
Metal under tension
Beggin' you to touch and go

Highway to the danger zone
Ride into the danger zone

Headin' into twilight
Spreadin' out her wings tonight
She got you jumpin' off the track
And shovin' into overdrive

Highway to the danger zone
I'll take you
Ridin' into the danger zone

You'll never say hello to you
Until you get it on the red line overload
You'll never know what you can do
Until you get it up as high as you can go

Out along the edges
Always where I burn to be
The further on the edge
The hotter the intensity

Highway to the danger zone
Gonna take you
Right into the danger zone

Highway to the danger zone
Right into the danger zone
Highway to the danger zone
Gonna take you right into the danger zone
Highway to the danger zone
Right into the danger zone
Highway to the danger zone
Gonna take you right into the danger zone
Highway to the danger zone
Right into the danger zone

General CommentThis is a great song used in a great film, the lyrics are cool and few people today can get this sort of rock just right as Kenny has.

General CommentThis song was MADE FOR Top Gun. It's a great song, I don't believe Kenny wrote it though, I think he may have just performed it, for the movie...I'm not sure though, anyway, great song.

you took the words right outta my mouth there,
Pete Micthell aka Maverick was one heck of classic movie character, that sheer cockiness and determination.I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!

General CommentYes he wrote it. He is a song writing genius. One of the greatest actually. And he and Michael Mcdonald are the greatest songwriting duo EVER. Followed closely by Vinnie and Dimebag RIP.
