"Let The Hammer Fall" as written by and Joacim Anders/dronjak Cans....
It's getting closer now
The clock strikes midnight time
It is the tolling of the judgment bell

You fear the dead of night
There ain't no place to hide
This is your point of no return

Now we are ready to strike again
It's getting far too late, my friend

Let the hammer fall

We are above the law
Let our power show
That we're in full control of your destiny

Now we are ready to strike again
It's getting far too late, my friend

Let the hammer fall

We're getting closer now
The chill of distant eyes
You're on a dead end street into the night

Now we are ready to strike again
It's getting far too late, my friend

Let the hammer fall

Let the hammer

Fall

Let the hammer fall

General CommentThis song to me is about accepting responsibility for your actions. Read the lyrics, use the chorus to help you realize what I said. It should make sense to you

General CommentI can't believe Hammerfall isn't recognized much here at songmeanings.net. I guess they aren't all that well-known. I've heard alot by them, but this song will always be my favorite. The guitaring is so well-done, the vocalist's amazing sound- it's excellent.

Acetica, I completely agree with your interpration. It doesn't take much to understand what they're talking about. "Let the hammer fall" as in, let the gaval fall, judgement, punishment, etc etc, get it?

General CommentWell, maybe Hammerfall isn't so well-known, but I think that it isn't so hard to understand the meaning most of their songs. But for me Hammerfall is the best band! Hell yeah!
