"When The Dragon Lies Bleeding" as written by and Jesper Claes Haakan/cans Stroemblad....
Ride through the valley in thunder and rain
The battle is raging, redeem this domain
The Castle of Eden lies silent above
Darkness surrounded us, away we must go

I look through the eyes of the world
I see there's a Stranger among us.
Awaiting a sign from above
To conquer the power and the glory

Enter the battle, our will to enchain
Bringing us forward, defeating the pain
Into the meeting with swords made of steel
We're standing together the secret reveals
I look through the eyes of the world

I know who's the Stranger among us
Awaiting a sign from above
To conquer the power and glory
Come across to the Promised Land
Close your eyes, I will take your hand
Through the river of steel we'll go
When the dragon lies bleeding

Above the glory we'll carry on
Now the time has come to return back home
The setting sun illuminates the dead
The battlefield field is shining red.

Silent lies Eden on top of the moor
We're fighting with honor protecting our Lord
The last one survivor lies bleeding. I kneel
Into his heart I settle the steel

I look through the eyes of the world
I see there's a Stranger among us.
Awaiting a sign from above
To conquer the power and the glory

Come across to the Promised Land
Close your eyes, I will take your hand
Through the river of steel we'll go
When the dragon lies bleeding

General CommentGrace, I'm not sure about that. It's certainly about some crusade, but more likely a fictional one. Although the referencing to "Eden" and such may suggest it, meh. Dragon. But whatever. My favorite Hammerfall song, and proabably will stay so for a long time.

General CommentIt's about some sort of war... but I think it's rather something fantasy... but it's also about a traitor who is a "stranger" among them who they kill in the end...

General CommentThe last line is 'We'll march to the end of the world in search for the power and the glory'.

Hell of a song. The beginning rocks.

General Commenti get the feeling the song is more about taking back land then anything
"The battle is raging, redeem this domain" and "Above the glory we carry on, now the time has come to return back home" makes me think they are fighting for land that was takin from them.

as for the "dragon" thats a metaphor for the obbosing army. a dragon is something that (if still exist/ever exist) are extremely hard to defeat and would take alot of people dieing to achieve it. u kno its a metaphor cuz the only time they mention a dragon is when they say "the dragon lies bleeding". they also say "through the river of steel well go" and i kno they didnt walk through a literal river of steel.
