Excuse my ignorance,
But isn't this what men strive lifetimes for?
The price is high, but consequence
Of spinelessness will cost much more

Kerosene…
Carry me…

If my faith gives way I have nothing.
Nothing.
If I lose my grip I've gained none at all.

Excuse my arrogance,
But where do you think inspiration lies?
Hate the life, love the depth
Shovels can't be sanitized

Kerosene…
Carry me…

If my faith gives way I have nothing.
Nothing.
If I lose my grip I've gained none at all.

General CommentOnce again he steps up and challenges the people who do nothing and think about nothing. If he loses his beliefs and everything he's worked so hard to believe in he is just like everyone else, spineless.

I love the 2nd verse of this song. It's only 4 lines but it says so much. He knows he's arrogant sometimes but that is what comes with being "deep".

General Commentthis song means a lot for me. it is about how we as mankind have striven for the things we have today. and they have been misused and lost to those who they were made for. it means i lot to me.
