"a minute longer" as written by Kelly Jones, Stuart Cable and Richard Mark Jones....
They're calling out
Come on lets go
But I'm miles away
To a year before
Laughs from a glass
Drank to the past
On the old green seat
Like velvet to the hand
Think I'd like to stay a minute longer
Would you like to stay a minute longer?
Last one for some
Sick from the rum
I play golf on the carpet with someone
Crash back to date
Few things I hate
But I'd rather us live
In the present day

General CommentI totally agree with "thoughts", it's not much about the lyrics or the rythm but that don't-know-how-to-call-it thing you get whenever you hear this song, you just start wondering: what could had happened if only i'd have stayed a minute longer ?

General CommentI gotta disagree i love this song and i think lots of people can relate to reminicing about the past and wanting to be back there for just a minute longer (cheesy haha)

General CommentI love this song. More than the lyrics alone - I love the feeling I get when I listen to it. There have definitely been moments in my life when I wanted to stay a minute longer . . .

General CommentPerformance and cocktails has 13 songs. 10 are amazing (the opening 8 and the last 2) and the other 3 are good but not on the same level, this song is one of them.

I like it but i think it should have been a b-side.
