"Forever" as written by and John B Williams....
"What has been put asunder
shall again be whole"

In this neon black gloom I still see her face
She comes to me bringing darkest hour, I am forlorn
The pain is reborn

You are forever in my heart you never died
You are forever I still wonder where you are

I know you're dreaming, I know you're at peace
I'll meet you in the dreamtime
Whenever you call me I'll go under, I'll swim through you

You are forever in my heart you never died
You are forever I still wonder where you are
I know you're dreaming neon black

"As the curtain calls, and the cast recedes,
I am all that ever was and all that ever will be.
In wither and repose this frayed chapter
now does close, and fade into neon black"

General Commentthis song is just so incredible.. the harmonies are so creepy but they work. i showed this song to a girl who sings professionally, and she said it was really scary but well done. i can't agree more.

General CommentAgain, this is the woman who's story dominates this album. There are a few lines that borrow from the title track. In a sense he will always love her, even though she is gone forever. And he will keep 'dreaming neon black' for her, who dreams were painted 'in pale shades'.

General CommentThe chorus sounds very dark and sorrowful...
This is the end, it's all about denial.
Warrell can't accept the facts and denies it.

General CommentThis is a stunning end to the album. There is such beauty in its simplicity.

General CommentIt speaks beautifully to the agony that he is going through over the loss of one whom he loves. Something I have been all too familiar with. This is probably why this whole album seems to resonate within me

General CommentAfter seven minutes of silence there's the same weird sounds of the beginning of the album and a last sentence. "She's been waiting for you" I think.

Coming alongside the 'straight' sound of a heart rate monitor, I'm inclined to think the lyrical self of the album killed himself at the end hoping to see her again, and the voice, whether an allucination or the real deal, is Satan's. Creepy.
