"Rusted Embrace" as written by and Adam Dutkiewitz Mike D'antonio....
Gazing at the horizon lost in the cryptic majesty
Gazing at the horizon so lost what have we done a slowly dying
Earth a suffocated wasteland for convenience
And so called progression visions of prophecy faces

Pushed in the earth nothing will change unless
We inflict transition praying on bended knees (empty)
Closed eyes will not see (empty)
Praying on bended knees (empty)

Is there still time
The sands of time will are slipping through our fingers
Will we stare into the eyes of nothingness burned
And raped in the name of humanity enslaved earth
I pray for death for your release

General CommentThis is such a nasty song! Definitely my favorite on the album. May 21st Alive or Just Breathing comes out, I'd definitely recommend getting it.

General CommentI think this song kind of ties in with Numbered days. Kind of like we have fucked up this world so bad, and for so long, there is going to be a final judgement, and I think it is written from the point of someone who knows whats about to happen and while he knows that that is the way it has to be, he is still hoping that there is some way to avoid it.

General CommentMy absolute favorite song. This was before their new vocalist. I don't like him as much as the old one but I know when to give props where props are due. The dude can scream...especially live. Damn...

Their lyrics are so uplifting though. It's good to see that in a genre filled with negativity.
