Dadadadadada dadadadadada
Oh yeah
Dadadadadada (hey) dadadadadada

How bout' a cup of cofee?
Me and you, we can meet at the cafe
Parler (pronounced parlie) while sippin' cappuccino's
If that ain't you we can go hit a movie
Here i am all jittery and nervous
Got me feelin' that i'm really not good at this.
In your mind i know your thinkin' what i'm up to?
All i want to do is try to get to know you..

Ooo yah yah
I can be the one (you know the one you don't know your lookin' for)
We can be the spark (to start a fire the world's been waitin' for)

The greatest love affairs started with hello
The greatest love songs started with a note
And the mona lisa started with a stroke
Maybe me and you could be one of those (one of those)
The greatest ideas started with a thought
If i think hard enough i can win your heart
'cause the greatest love story there was ever told
Could be me and you (you just never know)

I've been doin' all the talkin'
what's up with you, can you tell me what your thinkin'?
Am i off base? slow down? stop walkin'
Take a breath do you come here often?
Sweet you, and tomorrow is the weekend (i know)
Do you bowl or are you up for rollerblading? (uh-huh)
Take my number, hit me up on the cell phone, maybe later we can finish converstatin'

Ooohhhhh
I can be the one (you know the one you don't know your lookin' for)
We can be the spark (to start a fire the world's been waitin' for)

The greatest love affairs started with hello
The greatest love songs started with a note
And the mona lisa started with a stroke
Maybe me and you could be one of those (one of those)
The greatest ideas started with a thought
If i think hard enough i can win your heart
'cause the greatest love story there was ever told
Could be me and you (you just never know)

The strangest things have happened and i don't even know your name
But i'm feelin' this connection, tell me do you feel the same?
It could be bigger then both of us, but first it has to start
Someday people gonna look back at us as a work of art

Dadada (uh uh uh yea yea) dadada
(what you say? come on what you say?)

(dadada in background)
The greatest love affairs started with hello
The greatest love songs started with a note
And the mona lisa started with a stroke
Maybe me and you could be one of those (one of those)
The greatest ideas started with a thought
If i think hard enough i can win your heart
'cause the greatest love story there was ever told
Could be me and you (you just never know)

Dadadada dadada dadadada (you just never know) dadada
Dadadada dadada dadadada dadada

Ahh.. dreams of finding internet true love. How scary. Scene 23 didn't write it so I doubt they remotely care about the lyrics either LOL. However, the line "I could be the one" from the tv show makes you like this song.. even though it's straight from the cookie cutter.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
