General CommentThe itch is feeling trapped and the cure is to get away from the machine world of America and back to Korea, or an island off the coast of Korea, or wherever your ancestors went to visit the ocean. The grinding and thumping are the symbols of sex, friction, invention and creation. It's all about lesuire time by oneself and how it produces wisdom about oneself and one's culture. It's about finding evolution and sanctuary in a fake world of imposed beliefs and hellish actions surrounding you. It's about swimming freely in the ocean or flying like an aquatic bird rather than being trapped on land. It's freedom, really.

General CommentI think maybe the song is called cure for the itch Joe Hahn (The DJ) does all of that scratching on the turntables. So I guess what they mean is that Joe's scratching represents scratching an itch.
