This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
Tick tock tick, do, do, do-do
Tick tock tick, do, do, do-do
Tick tock tick, do, do, do-do
Tick tock tick, do, do, do-do
Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future
I wanna fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
'Til I'm free
Oh, Lord, through the revolution
Feed the babies
Who don't have enough to eat
Shoe the children
With no shoes on their feet
House the people
Livin' in the street
Oh-oh, there's a solution
I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
'Til I'm free
Right through the revolution
Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future
Do do, do-do, do do, do-do, do do, do-do
Do do, do-do, do do, do-do, do do, do-do
Do do, do-do, do do, do-do

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
Just A Little Lovin'

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
I think this song is about the US Post Office.
Seal didn't make a great anything when it comes to this song. This is a Miller classic for Christ sake.
What's that you say, Steve – "there's a solution"? What is it, pray tell? Or are you keeping it all to your eagly self?
LOL. This was such a hit waaaaaay back then! It's a great song. A true classic. Gives the listener a feeling that s/he can do anything.
Indeed, what is the solution? Fly around like an eagle? Lovely song in many ways. Sometimes I wonder if Steve Miller speaks English, though, because his lyrics so often don't make sense. I guess the words are just filler for the music. Don't get me wrong, I love humming, whistling, tapping to the beat and singing his songs. I just wish the lyrics made more sense.
@charolastra <br /> <br /> Steve presents us with some weighty social problems:<br /> <br /> "...the babies / Who don't have enough to eat ... the children with no shoes on their feet ...people livin' in the street"<br /> <br /> He then proposes true commitment to the ideals of Social Justice as a way of resolving these endemic socio-economic imbalances. <br /> <br /> He will "FLY LIKE AN EAGLE TO THE SEA", carried by his "spirit" and that is how he will confront and resolve these societal inequities in a revolutionary manner. <br /> <br /> But first, I imagine, he will lay back in his hammock and do some serious bong hits.
Poverty in America.
i think maybe like how there's problems, and it seems like there's a solution, but there really isn't, because you'd need to "fly liike an eagle" or do the impossible to fix the problems, but maybe in the future there will be a solution
This is an idealistic song. Steve Miller wants to solve the problems of the world.
He wants to fly like an eagle, escaping the problems that need to be addressed.
On some versions of the song, the lyrics about poverty and suffering are erased and the part about the revolution is changed with "into the future". Why did they do this? The original lyrics were much more profound.
i must agree with DanVitaleRocks...thank you for that
DanVitale.....you're a funny guy.
It's a really cool about how poverty ruins peoples lives.
