"what happens on the road always comes home" as written by and James Dewees Sean Ingram....
We all know why you are still hanging on to this
Either to run away from your family or to be
Something you can no longer be
I think maybe time has caught up with you
And it's time to get your priorities straight
And to take what you've learned and pass it down
And those old men--they lied to us
What happens on the road always comes home
And if it didn't, then there is no point
Other than narrowly avoiding divorce three or so times a year
With no life lived to show for it
Sometimes, I want to live again
Just like the kids I traveled with
Oh, so much more to do, so much more to see
But, I think maybe time has caught up with me
You see, when her eyes light up
It all seems so trivial to ever leave again
I will never leave again

General Commentthis song means my ass is soft. coalesce owns you all. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! it's hard to believe the drummer for them is the keyboarist in the get up kids and 'reggie'. sean on "something i'm not" is the greatest.

General Commentisn't it funny to see somebody from a band as kick-your-ass tough as coalesce write a song about how he's giving up being in a band because he wants to be with his wife? aw, how sweet. no, really, i think this song rocks, and i respect sean for actually not trying to front as another tuffer-than-you hardcore pony boy. to all the people who think that songs have to be pissed off fight anthems, wave a finger high in the air to show you what we feel about that notion

General CommentI think this song is about the infamous attacks made on ingram and his family, and how he hates that these things are effecting his family life. Truly great band.

General CommentGod, for such a popular band, it sure is hard to get a hold of their shit. I have my friend to thank just for letting me borrow "Revolution..."

This song is kick ass. I don't know enough about their history to make any assumptions. I do know their from my home town KCMO, though so that's cool.
