"Someday" as written by and Tim Wheeler....
Someday we'll leave this town
It wears us down
We'll leave somehow
All its harm and all its charm
Oh someday

Someday we'll leave behind
All this time
That has turned sour
Far behind, out of mind
Oh someday

Someday we'll leave this life
Far behind and fade in time
We'll look down on this sad town
Oh someday

Safe from harm, was it a dream I had
Was it a dream I had
When did it turn bad
Safe from harm
Was it a dream

Safe from harm, was it a dream I had
Was it a dream I had
When did it turn bad
Safe from harm, was it a dream I had
Was it a dream I had
When did it turn bad
Safe from harm, was it a dream I had
Was it a dream I had
When did it turn bad
Safe from harm
Was it a dream

Someday we'll leave behind
This sad life and all its lies
All its harm and all its charm
Someday we shall see clarity
And we won't look back

General CommentWhat a great song indeed! I think what it means is that when you've lived all your life in a town and you get to a point when all the people that you see and the places you go to is full of memories, bad or good ones, and it makes you wish that one day you'll get out of the place cause you can see yourself having a better life somewhere else. I think I live in a town exactly like the one mentioned here. With its lies, its harms, and its charms.

General CommentThis song is so amazing. I think everyone can relate to what its saying, and its the greatest thing for you to listen to when your stuck someplace for a while that you really dont want to be, but you know that some day that it will all change. The melody and strings in this song are so beautiful, i just love this song!!

General CommentI grew up in a small town. This song I can really relate to then I got an offer to move to London. I remember playing this song lots just before moving cos I couldn't believe my luck of being given the chance to get out. I was worn down.

General CommentTo me it's not necessarily about a place but it might also be about a situation, a relationship., etc and you're stuck in it and need to move on and leave it behind.
