Ella se desliza y me atropella
Y, aunque a veces no me importe

Y va quemando, va quemándome y me quema
Y, ¿si fuera ella?
No, no

Y va quemándome y me quema
Y, ¿si fuera ella? Oh oh

¿Era? ¿quién me dice si era ella?
Y, si la vida es una rueda y va girando
Y nadie sabe cuándo tiene que saltar
Y la miro y, ¿si fuera ella?
Y, ¿si fuera ella? Oh

Y, ¿si fuera ella?

    My Interpretation

Pretty certain, when he talks about "her" he means "the one" - "real love".

He sees "her" everywhere, with a different face, different body but she always seams to get away, torments him, teases him. What if the one that is just leaving him, the one that he is loosing right now, "what if that was her", "What if she was the one" ?! And life is a wheel, it keeps turning and there is no answer - only torment...

Pretty powerful song - leaves me with goose bumps and water rising in my eyes every time.

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
