"Invisible Man" as written by and Kim Deal....
He's the Invisible Man
Count the bubbles in your hand
The southern skies
And the summer sites

That's all that's left behind
The skies, and a sweet caress
He's the Invisible Man
Catch him if you can

You're nowhere in sight (just imagine that)
Nothing excites you (baby, that's a fact)
Open your eyes
Look and you will find

That's all that's left behind... the skies
And a sweet caress
The skies, the sights
And a sweet caress
He's the Invisible Man
Catch him if you can

That's all that's left behind... the skies
And a sweet caress
The skies, the sights
And a sweet caress
He's the Invisible Man
Catch him if you can

General CommentI think the song is about female masturbation. You feel the warmth of the summer.....the sweet caress....your hand...but all that's left is an invisible man

General CommentI didn't like this song for some years. Then one day I listened to it without hearing any of the other songs on the album. It kinda put a new meaning to it, because before that I only thought of the song as an intermission between Cannonball and No Aloha - and how can any song deal take that kind of competition? Anyway, the song is really great and Last Splash is the best album of all time.
