"Please Don't Rock Me Tonight" as written by Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger....
I was ready when the big day came
My shoes were good and polished
And you know how bad I wished
I had somebody special to blame
But you know I never care to lay
A blame on for my hairdo

You know it isn't easy to do
When the DJ isn't humming
A part of me suffers too

Baby, please don't rock me tonight
Please don't rock me tonight
Please don't rock me tonight
I'm not in the mood

I didn't mean to make the trendy guy mad
But the feeling I'm immersed in now
Can only turn a good party bad
Somehow, somehow

You know it isn't easy to do
When the DJ isn't humming
A part of me suffers too

Baby, please don't rock me tonight
Please don't rock me tonight
Please don't rock me tonight
I'm not in the mood
I'm not in the mood

And you know it isn't easy to do
When the DJ isn't humming
A part of me suffers too

Baby, please don't rock me tonight
Please don't rock me tonight
Please don't rock me tonight
I'm not in the mood
I'm not in the mood
Please don't rock me tonight
I'm not in the mood
Please don't rock me tonight
I'm not in the mood

General CommentGOD, I love this song. I'm not sure why, it's not the best FoW song (lyrically, anyways) I just think the melody is great and it has slightly more of a fuzzy rock edge than their other songs. I'm not entirely sure WHAT it means -- maybe he was all excited for this party, but then he had a really bad day, and the DJ wasn't into it, and then he doesn't want to have sex with his girlfriend? Or he doesn't want to dance? Hahaha, I have no idea so I'm going to stop sounding dumb, but this is a jammin' song. Listen to it.
