"Flesh For Fantasy" as written by Steve Stevens and Billy Idol....
There's a change in pace
Of fantasy and taste
Do you like good music
Do you like to dance
Oh yeah
Hangin' out for a body shop at night
Ain't it strange what we do to feel alright
Oh yeah
So when will you call
I am experienced oh yeah

[Chorus:]
Face to face
And back to back
You see and feel
My sex attack
Sing it, flesh, flesh for fantasy
We want flesh, flesh for fantasy

It's after midnight
Are you feeling alright
Oh yeah
Turn out the light babe
Are you someone else tonight
Neighbor to neighbor, door to door
Don't ask questions
There's time for it all, oh yeah

[Chorus]

I sing for culture
Father loves his son
Mothers, daughters too
It's an old, old story
Cries the new world too

Flesh, flesh, flesh for fantasy
We want, flesh, flesh for fantasy
We want, flesh, flesh for fantasy
You cry, flesh, flesh for fantasy

Let's go down, let's go down
Let's go down, let's go down
Let's go down, let's go down

Do you like good music
Do you like to dance
It's nearly mornin'
You want to risk a chance
Neighbor to neighbor
Door to door

Enjoy the crime
You do your time
Never been nothin' before

General CommentAn old friend always told me, "If you see a hot chick, and you know will never see her again, eye-fuck the shit out of her." I think it is about the truly visceral sexual drive people feel, even when it is a different person every second. The fantasy of unsampled flesh. "Doin' the time" is a reference to getting caught eye-fucking. It transcends gay or straight. It is all flesh.

General CommentCould this song be about prostitution? Almost all the lyrics tell me so, specially this part

My OpinionIt sounds more to me like how people go out for one night stands, trying to get lost in the sea of bodies they experience time after time. Using flesh, sex as a means to get by.

    'Are you someone else tonight?
    Neighbor to Neighbor
    Door to Door'

When you really think about it, some people don't give their names when it comes to those types of encounters. Giving a fake name, and fake information, because who cares once you've done it and you don't see them gain, anyway.

    Father loves his son
    mother, daughter too
    It's an old old story
    cries the new world order

Point blank, since this a 'fantasy' getting lost in fantasies psychically. He could be suggesting the people doing this are looking for love where they didn't have it before. Just my opinion.

General CommentYeah, this song is totally about sex. I listen to this song and I can't help but think of "Neighbour to neighbour, door to door" to mean double-barrel action (also known as double-penetration). And of course in my mind it's always Billy Idol and David Bowie doing it to me, but I digress.

"Are you someone else tonight?" implies roleplaying. :)
