"Caged Rat" as written by and David Anthony Pirner....
Why don't you go home and crawl into your hole
Why don't you go home and spend some time alone

In the corner I looked across the room
To the other corner, I knew I'd be there soon

Caged rat (x12)

In the corner I looked across the room
I knew I'd be there soon, in the (other) corner

Caged rat (x12)

Why don't you go home and crawl into your hole
Why don't you go home and spend some time alone

From the corner I looked across the room
To the other corner, I knew I'd be there soon

Caged rat (x12)

General CommentNo, it's not their worst song, I think it's one of their best.

As for the meaning, I think the theme is similar to the Caged Bird, whereas the bird is trapped, like the rat is trapped, and can't go home. Probably heavily inspired by that.
