kept holding you forever
some call it fate
keep staying so close
keep being so gold

cross the border
leave the distance way back
set the lights dim from now on
for you and me keep shining so bright

and I always knew that it would turn out just fine
perfect seems to fit just fine this time

kept calling you today
you always answered
long to hear you say your sweet little okay
can´t get enough of what people call fate

and I always knew that it would turn out just fine
perfect seems to fit just fine this time

perfect is the word that fits me and you
stay gold my love
and the world will treat you really good
(repeat 4x)

General Commentthe reference to being gold i think is taken from this poem "nothing gold can stay" it's in the outsiders. if you read the poem it does fit with the song. this is a good song =o)
