"Sunny Hours" as written by Eric John Wilson, Lindon Roberts, Bradley James Nowell, Floyd I. Gaugh Iv, Richard Arthur Smith, William Adams, David Gamson, Oliver J. Leiber and Marshall Raymond Goodman....
Well I've strolled across some dance floors filled with girls all dressed in red
Pulled my foot from my mouth, answer back the things i've said.
Wander through the valley of the shadow of the dead
Stumbled on this old sun dial, then these words I read.
I only count the sunny hours, brightest hours of day.
I never count the gloomy hours I let them slip away. And I realize I'm away.

[Chorus]
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah
I'm alright ya'all.
Alright y'all.
Ya want to be alright you gotta walk tall.
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah
I'm alright y'all.
Alright y'all.

Ya want to be alright you gotta walk tall.
Well I woke up in to many beds with girls I didn't know.
I seen lots of brothers at top and I watched them come & go,
Tell me why I'm not dead with them in the valley down below.

I give thanks everyday for these words they save my soul.
I only count the sunny hours, brightest hours of day.
I never count the gloomy hours I let them slip away. And I realize I'm away.

[Chorus]

It's like the wise man said relax yourself
When it's movin' too fast set it down
When the goin' gets tough it gets you goin'
If ya really want to speak then make a sound
Keep your eyes on the prize and realize

That the trouble's gonna come in all shapes and sizes
Well ya gotta stay strong don't let your knees buckle
Ya gotta keep hustlin', keep hustlin', movin', groovin'
That's the lovin' that's the lovin' come back to me... [Repeat: x4]

General CommentThe last part's lyrics are:
"Let the lovin', Let the lovin' come back to me."
It is a sample of Brad's voice during What I Got.

General Commentthis song is amazing, i'm very glad to see the members of sublime still kicking, i didn't want the sad death of bradley to stop them from making there lovely music again. Some people say its not the same with out bradley, i agree. But atleast its better then the gay shit on most of the radio today.

General CommentThis song is awesome...as well is the entire band. It's definately nowhere near the same as it was when Brad was there. There won't ever be another band like Sublime. People need to look at these guys not as Sublime's replacement though. These guys love music, and because their best bud dies it doesn't mean that they're going to abandon their livelihood, their hobby, what they love to do. R.I.P. Brad, we're all missin ya.

General Commentyeah i agree with you mavrikz, they do love music and they aren't going to stop it just because bradley dies. but at the same time, everytime i hear this song i get pissed off. they didn't need to put bradley's voice in it. to me that's like them living off of bradley. they don't want to be recognized as a tribute band, yet they cover most sublime songs and they put bradley's voice in this song. ionno. they need to be their own band. rest in peace bradley. i love you, and im going to visit your gravesite this weekend, again, to pay my respects. lbc forever
