This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
She was a fast machine
She kept her motor clean
She was the best damn woman that I ever seen
She had the sightless eyes
Telling me no lies
Knocking me out with those American thighs
Taking more than her share
Had me fighting for air
She told me to come, but I was already there
'Cause the walls start shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you
Shook me all night long
Yeah, you shook me all night long
Working double time
On the seduction line
She was one of a kind, she's just mine all mine
Wanted no applause
Just another course
Made a meal outta me, and come back for more
Had to cool me down
To take another round
Now I'm back in the ring to take another swing
That the walls were shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you
Shook me all night long
Yeah, you shook me all night long
It knocked me out that you
Shook me all night long
You had me shaking it
You shook me all night long
Yeah, you shook me
Well, you took me
You really took me and you
Shook me all night long
Oh, you
Shook me all night long
Yeah, yeah, you
Shook me all night long
You really got me and you
Shook me all night long
Yeah, you shook me
Yeah, you shook me
All night long
She kept her motor clean
She was the best damn woman that I ever seen
She had the sightless eyes
Telling me no lies
Knocking me out with those American thighs
Taking more than her share
Had me fighting for air
She told me to come, but I was already there

Hayalperest
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere.
In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
Midnight
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms.
“Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
After having heard this song at least few thousand, maybe ten thousand times over the last decade, I think I've finally reached an epiphany on the meaning behind "sightless eyes." It's not as complicated as everyone makes it out to be. He's talking about her boobs.
@Exavier Its about a car. The exhilaration of an exotic car. lyrics are metaphorically entangled with sex with a hot girl... Equivocating the beauty and rush of an exotic car with an equally hot woman.
okay, that was the stupidest comment. "is Bon Scott really jewish because my friend loves AC/DC and he hates jews" ugh. religion should NOT not matter. i don't see how religion would sway someones opinions of a band..
Idiots!!!!!!! #1 Bon Scott was dead when this song was released. Brian Johnson was the lead singer on this one. #2 Of course its an exaggeration. He is not 70. #3 Who cares if he's Jewish. It's great rock n roll.
P.S. Where did that whole Jewish thing come from anyway.
( . Y . )
This song is not about sleeping with a hot chick. It's about fantasizing about sleeping with a hot chick. Sorry folks, but You Shook Me All Night Long is about masturbation, plain and simple.
Brian Johnson has said in several interviews that this song was inspired by images of American women he saw while recording the Back In Black album in the Bahamas. When you think about it, that totally explains a few odd lines in the song that have had people scratching their heads. For example, "sightless eyes, telling me no lies" makes sense when you know he's looking at a picture of a woman. She can't see and tell lies because she's only a paper image.
Like any fantasy, he's imagining she's speaking to him when he says things like "she told me to come...", but the problem is, she's not real. That's why he says "best damn woman that I've ever seen" and not "best I've been with".
Another curious thing about this song is the way he sings the verses about someone else (she was...), but sings the chorus directly to someone (you shook me...). He's either singing about two different people, or he's singing about somone else, then he switches to singing about himself. The masturbation scenario supports the latter. Now that I know the truth about this song, I can't help but laugh my ass off every time I hear the chorus. He's having his penis sing back to him saying, "you shook me all night long"!
No he is not talking about a woman or masturbation. He is speaking about his car. She was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean. Sorry commenting so late, just happened to see this website and comments.
That Jewish thing pisses me off too man! AC/DC is a damn good band, and this is a damn good song! Is the fact that he's Jewish going to decrease the talent of this band? I didn't think so.
he's singin about a chic who gave him a great lay.
it's still one of the best damned singing songs and overall feel good songs there is.
I saw the music video for this song. One of the guitarists refuses to stop moving but he still puts out amazing licks on his guitar while almost doing a backflip :) its a great song with an old school rock and roll charm. The song that got me hooked on AC/DC
I think you have all missed the point about the guy asking about the jewish thing. If i had a friend how hated jews and loved a band with a jewish singer i would take pleasure in reminding him of the fact while playing the music loudly justbecause it would be funny. The guy probly just wanted to torture a friend
This song is about a 69 position. He is buried deep hence can't breath but comes up for air to see her American thighs. She is rocking his ?alls and stroking waiting for the surprise.
'Checking My Pulse" and "Drive" are two others about the same topic. Good songs, too.
