"Power Of Darkness" as written by and Glenn Danzig....
Rape the garden of infernal delights
Rack your body on the left and the right
Like you're floating on a river of pain
Thirsty knife and hungry brain

Rip your body on the left and the right
Take your body to another plane
Rape the garden of infernal delights
Wrap the snake in between your legs

You want the power of rebellion
You want it thrust inside

You want the power of dissension
You want it thrust inside
You want the power of darkness
It cannot be denied

The darkness is the power in light
Cannot be denied
That darkness is the power of light
Blessed be the black

General CommentI think it's about sex. "...Rape the garden of infernal delights/Wrap the snake in between your legs..."

General Commentthis is about sex, but I am not too sure if it is rape exactly,it says they want it thrust inside,it isnt the rapist that cannot be denied, it is the desire that cant., and about Adam and Eve in the garden, with the snake as evil and temptation. It is about violent sex,and many many of Danzigs songs take on a religious tone at the same time as having alternate meanings. All songs have more than one, usually. This is my favorite band, and has been all of my teen and adult life, so I have of course heard it thousands of times and thought it over a lot
