"Don't Lie to Me" as written by Alex Chilton and Christopher Bell....
Don't lie to me
Don't lie to me
Don't lie to me
Don't lie to me

I know where you been
And I know what you been doing
Don't lie to me

Don't push me 'round
Don't push me 'round
Don't push me 'round
Don't push me 'round

I don't like that
Now, I'm telling you
Don't push me 'round

Don't cross me babe
Don't cross me babe
Don't cross me babe
Don't cross me babe

Who says you would?
Just making sure
Don't cross me babe

General Commentthis song, the chatter before it, the whole thing... reminds me of the replacements. those two bands will always have a connection together for me man...

great big star tune, change of pace from most of their stuff. has a bluesly, garage rock feel with a little cheesiness to it (in my opinion just because it isnt much like the stuff- as the other user said, in contrast to "thirteen" for example.... still a great song anyhow!).
