Everything, everything, everything, everything, everything
Everything, everything, everything, everything, everything
Everything, everything, everything, everything, everything
Everything, everything, everything, everything, everything

I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible
I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible

Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love

Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two
Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two

I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible
I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible, I'm invisible

Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love

Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two
Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two
Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two
Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two

Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love

I scream
I scream
I scream so much
You know what I mean this electric stream
And my tears in league with the
Wires and energy and my machine
This is my beautiful dream
I'm hurting no one
Hurting no one
Hurting no one
Hurting no one
I want to give you everything
I want to give you energy
I want to give a good thing
I want to give you everything

Everything, everything, everything, everything, everything, everything, everything

In one final scream of love who could climb
This high she looks beautiful like a child
I feel tears
And I want to scream
You know what I mean cause this is hurting no one
Am, an eraser of love

Hurt the necessary feeling

Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two
Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two
Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two
Why don't you call me, I feel like flying in two

Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love
Am, an eraser of love, am, an eraser of love

    My Interpretation

    I always thought he was singing about transcendence, that moment when you leave your every day mind, and become everything, invisible, connected to the universe totally. Like when you're totally in the moment at a rave.

    "I scream so much you know what I mean this electric stream"

    ~~ he's talking about what it's like to sing on stage, electric stream = the music

    and my tears in league with the wires and energy and my machine this is my beautiful dream"

    ~~ The tears are the overwhelming emotion the music creates in that moment ~~ Wires and the energy and the machine is the music set up/ DJ equipment

    "why don't you call me I feel like flying in two"
     ~~~ talking about getting high, or reaching unimaginable heights in the moment
    "I'm hurting no one
    hurting no one"
    ~~~ when you're at a rave, enjoying the music, you're not hurting anyone, you're pure love

    "I want to give you everything
    I want to give you energy
    I want to give a good thing
    I want to give you everything "

    ~~~ he's talking about connecting to everyone in that moment and giving all he can to the audience and vice versa - everyone is pure love in that moment
    "everythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverythingeverything"
    ~~~ Becoming everything in that moment, transcendence of self

    "in one final scream of love who could climb
    this high she looks beautiful like a child"

    ~~~ In that moment you become like a child, enchanted with the world again, again climbing to the highest of highs
    "I feel tears
    and I want to scream"
    ~~ because it's so amazing and emotional
    "you know what I mean cause this is hurting no one
    an eraser of love"
    ~~~ an eraser of love, erasing your identity in that moment, as you transcend, it erases both everything you love, and hate - become one with the universe

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
