It's taking everything in me
Not to kiss you over, under
Feel you inside, feel my thunder
How the hell could i not want cha
Girl it don't have to be a thang
I'll wait for you, you wait for me
Cause' true love is insisting we don't have to rush at all

These are the times we all wish for
The moment when less means so much more
We don't have to do a thing at all
We can just take our time and talk
And this is the way things need to be
No pressure from you and none from me
Just let the mood set the moment off
We can make love or not all

Be thinkin bout you all the time
Morning, noon and suppertime
Tear you up in little pieces
Swallow you like reeses pieces
Come on girl you know i need it
It ain't s'posed to be a thang
I know
If i wait for you, you'll wait for me
And i know
True loves insisting we don't have to rush at all

These are the times we all wish for
The moment when less means so much more
We don't have to do a thing at all
We can just take our time and talk
And this is the way things need to be
No pressure from you and none from me
Just let the mood set the moment off
We can make love or not all

I don't make promises
Cause i know my heart gets weak
I get around you
It makes them hard to keep
You bring out the best, you make me the man
God knows i'm proud to be

These are the times we all wish for
The moment when less means so much more
We don't have to do a thing at all
We can just take our time and talk
And this is the way things need to be
No pressure from you and none from me
Just let the mood set the moment off
We can make love or not all

this song ii think is about a guy who has all these thoughts running through his mind about what he wants to do to this girl, but he doesn't want to rush anything. even though he wants to, he see that the little things matter the most, like conversation and getting to know the girl. basically he doesn't want to make sex a big issue and it's hard for him, but he will wait for her as long as they're together because he loves her. i wish more guys were like that...

    Song Meaning

I think this song is about a guy trying to get to a girl by being something that he is not. basically something that his friends pressure him to be instead of being himself. if you seen the video, there are two sisqo's one who is the fake one and the real one, who is wearing an iron mask and prisoned, and the other sisqo who is a king and lives lavishly. meaning that the real him is locked away. but then later when he is released, the girl finally likes the real sisqo. and the fake one is in denial so they both fight. and the real one wins. meaning that the guy made the right descision by being himself instead of being what people want him to be towards women. but if ya still dnt understand watch the video. it explains it all. it is based on "The man with the iron mask" meaning its just a front that he's putting on, for the girl to like him.

    My Interpretation

I believe this songs is about a man and woman who just recently ended their relationship because their lives are going in two different directions. They most likely ended their relationship for honest reasons.. (too young, different directions or lives) and although they cant be together at the moment, they still love each other deeply. When they're around each other, its very hard to maintain whatever agreement. "its taking everything in me, not to kiss you over, under" . But they have spent enough time apart to know that: "this is the way things need to be, no pressure from you and none from me".

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
