One world is enough
For all of us
One world is enough
For all of us

It's a subject we rarely mention
But when we do we have this little invention
By pretending they're a different world from me
I show my responsibility

One world is enough
For all of us
One world is enough
For all of us

The third world breathes our air tomorrow
We live on the time we borrow
In our world there's no time for sorrow
In their world there is no tomorrow

One world is enough
For all of us
One world is enough
For all of us

Lines are drawn upon the world
Before we get our flags unfurled
Whichever one we pick
It's just a self deluding trick

One world is enough
For all of us
One world is enough
For all of us

I don't want to bring a sour note
Remember this before you vote
We can all sink or we all float
'Cause we're all in the same big boat

One world is enough
For all of us
One world is enough
For all of us

One world is enough
For all of us
One world is enough
For all of us

One world is enough
For all of us

It may seem a million miles away
But it gets a little closer everyday
It may seem a million miles away
But it gets a little closer everyday
It may seem a million miles away
But it gets a little closer everyday

One world
One world
One world
One world

One world
One world
One world

One world
One world
One world
One world
One world
One world

One world
One world
One world
One world

One world
One world
One world
One world

Awesome song. The lyrics are obviously about how we speak of "third world" countries that need our help. Well they're not in a different world so we should stop dividing ourselves a help eachother.

Then you get some more reggae in 'One World (Not Three)', a deep introspective song in "Secret Journey' which is hardly great but is hardly crap, either (I always love it when some sharp pretentious song from Stingie is backed with an equally sharp rhythm support from the band - it makes the message oh so much more distinctive) … [George Starostin]

This song is not only incredible but shows just what an excellent drummer Stewart Copeland is.

I got to see the reunion tour. This was the song I wish they'd play. Love the Synchronicity Tour rendition. Stew rules!

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
