"Read About It" as written by and Christopher John Cheney....
No rest for the wicked
No mercy for the rotten
Go create some madness

[Chorus]
More coverage than the homeless
Your image here to stay
Your photo on the cover of
Your photo can't get enough

You and I, we read about it
We idolize the criminal mind
Is there a method in our madness?
And we fantasize of committing crimes
And so we remain

You're taken by the story
No escaping from the glory
Never to be forgotten
Now you're believin' in your press
You're not going anyway

Your photo on the cover of
Your photo can't get enough

[Chorus]

And so we remain
And so we became
History remains
History today

General CommentIt's about the irony of criminals that are made into celebrities by the very people who outcasted them.

General Commentyeah, it's about how criminals get more attention from the media than anyone else, even though they should be punished, not promoted. and because of the attention given to criminals, more people want to be ones. but chris obviously seems to think that we need to have this madness, or there is going to be nothing for everyone else to read about. and of course the general public needs some bull shit to keep them quiet. this reminds me alot of tabloid magazine, the whole press and how everyone is so caught up in it. i love yelling along the the "and so we remain" bit
