[Verse 1]
We fell in love at first glance
When our eyes met and our hearts raced
But nothing ever lasts in this life
So it ends there and I'm sittin' here

[Chorus]
With this bottle of wine in one hand
And a cigarette in the other
The only thing on my body
Is the impression of you

[Verse 2]
So maybe I'm not a dreamer
But I'm too realistic to ask myself that
And maybe you weren't looking at me
But at some her behind my shoulder

[Chorus]
I'm with this bottle...

[Verse 3]
It's a little cold where I'm sitting
Yet you seem so warm up there
And the emotions just pouring through
But I don't know from who to where

[Chorus]

[Refrain]
We fell in love at first glance
When out eyes and our hearts raced

General CommentThis is my favorite song on the cd too besides My Beautiful. Because this song has gotten me through so much pain with a recent relationship. I love how Lennon isn't afraid to pound out their songs and then turn around and be so mellow. I love the emotions she has when she says "bottle of wine" The whole song is just amazing.

General CommentWhen I first bought her album, I really just loved it, her voice and the lyrics were beautiful but as I got older and experienced life I began to go through some of the things in her songs. This song especially, its beautiful and tragic all things of what life really is.
