[Verse 1]
Mommy's in the closet finding God
I'm on my knees finding you
Bring myself just low enough
To do what you want me to do

[Chorus]
I don't care
What you have to say
I'd rather fail
And do it my way

[Verse 2]
False smiles so no one can see
Everything they hate is every part of me
I just want to live my life
They just want to hear they're right

[Chorus]

[Bridge]

[Chorus]

General CommentI think the "Momma's in the closet finding God' is a reference to Stephen King's book, Carrie...

General CommentActually, vapid.. that line is about Lennon's mother who died from an alergic reaction in her upstairs closet--lennon came home and found her body.

Anyway, I absolutely love Lennon. She is well worth the money.

General CommentI have met Lennon many times and maintain to stay in contact with her over the past year and a half. When I asked her about the song, she quoted that the first couple of lines may sound like a sexual deed but really its's about being your own person and not living up to what other people expect you to be.
The lines: I'm on my knees finding you
    Bring myself just low enough
To do what you want me to do

Is referring to her old record label and how they wanted her to show herself and she wouldn't allow it so she moved on.
