"Blue Tile Fever" as written by Scott Hill, Bob Balch, Brad Davis and Brant Bjork....
Takin' the next run
Rollin' right by
Takin' the last one

[Chorus: x2]
So look the other way that's what we heard 'em say
Blue tile fever

It's brand new-like i told you
No one's seen - the things that they do
Hear the words - and know what they know
The crowd splits - wherever they go

It's all brand new - just like i told you x2
A grind back at the far end
Signs posted for all of you
Things were alright just when
Now here's what we're gonna do

Song MeaningIt's easy for a skater to undrestand the meaning of this song...i m just sad that nobody did it before me, poor french guy who never touch the asphalt of Sacred California :). The song talks of the fever that took California in the middle of the 70's when the Drought hits the country.Every pool was empty because of the restriction and unfortunatly there was no waves too in the ocean. So surfers who where skaters too used the pools as their playground, and pools was covered with blue tile, just like always ;). It was the begining of new era of skatin' lead by the Zephyr Boyz in Dog Town.
