"So I Need You" as written by Bradley Kirk Arnold, Matthew Darrick Roberts, Robert Todd Harrell and Christopher Lee Henderson....
If you could step into my head
Tell me, would you still know me?
If you woke up in my bed
Tell me would you hold me?
Or would you simply let it lie
Leaving me to wonder why?
I can’t get you out of this head
I call mine and I will say

I don't want to let you go
My little girl
Because you’re holding up my world
So I need you
Your imitation of my walk
And the perfect way you talk
It’s just a couple of the million things
That I love about you
So I need you
So I need you
So I need you
So I need you

And if I jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge
Tell me would you still follow me?
And if I made you mad today
Tell me would you love me tomorrow? Please
Or would you say that you don’t care
And then leave me standing here
Like the fool who is drowning in despair
And screaming

I don't want to let you go
My little girl
Because you’re holding up my world
So I need you
Your imitation of my walk
And the perfect way you talk
It’s just a couple of the million things
That I love about you
So I need you
So I need you
So I need you
So I need you

I’m on my own
I’m on my own
I’m on my own

Oh-Ohh Can't let you go
My little girl
Because you’re holding up my world
So I need you
Your imitation of my walk
And the perfect way you talk
It’s just a couple of the million things
That I love about you
So I need you
So I need you
So I need you
So I need you
Baby, Yeah

General Commenti think theres a hint of not realasionship in the sexual way but of father/daughter. his little girl is growing up and he feels he's losing her, shes not the little girl she used to be, she is her self now.

General CommentThis is probably my favorite 3DD song. Its such a sweet song about a guy who is very much in love with the girl in his life. It kind of sounds like they are having problems but he's telling her that he loves her anyway.

General Comment this is a great song i think he's basically saying your the world to me and i'll alwayz love you no matter what we go through well make it i agree with k dogg see me and my girl are going through some shit thats really testing our love for eachother but if we ever have any doubts on if we're gonna make it we just listen to this song

General CommentSounds like he is talking about someone he loves, but they don't necessarily want him right now, they may love him, but they are not ready to settle for him, and they find it strange that he needs her

General Commenti think this song is a bit of what everyone else wrote.a guy who is head over heels in love with this girl but there haven problems.its like hes sayin if you steped into my head thought what i thought and see what i see would you still love me and know me like you do now or would things be differnet.and do you love me enoght to follow me whereevr my life might bring me.andpunkrocker 9000 good luck in your relationship and remember everything happens for a reason if you two were meant to be together then you will.

General CommentI think that he is with a girl and he has completely come out with his true self.. like there is something he is ashamed of.. or he is just ashamed of himself. He feels that if she knew everything... that she would leave him... its really not as sweet as what people think... I think he fell in love with this girl because of her image ... and she fell in love with him for him and he doesn't realize it yet... he thinks that he isn't good enough

General Commenti actually think that losingholbrook is right!
Like everyone esle, i though that this was a love song (a fuc*king good one tho) but after reading the previous entry and looking back at the lyrics I can see it now. I always used to relate to this song - my favourite off the first album.

General CommentI think the song could go both ways...that being that the singer is either talking about his daughter or his girlfriend. In either case, he is saying that he is in love and can't let go. He's hoping that the girl doesn't turn him away or shut him out.

General Comment(Those lyrics have a number of mistakes in them, therefore i posted a new "So I Need You" that is being approved at the moment...to the contributioner) as for those who would like to see the REAL lyrics...

    If you could step
    into my head, tell
Me would you still know me
If you woke up in my bed,
Tell me then would you hold me
Or would you simply let it lie,
    Leaving me to wonder why
I can't get you out of this head
    I call mine
    And I will say
Oh no I can't let you go,
    My little girl
Because you're holding up my world,
    So I need you
    Your imitation of my walk
And the perfect way you talk
It's just a couple of the million things
    That I love about you
    So I need you
    So I need you
    So I need you
    So I need you
And if I jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge,
Tell me would you still follow me
And if I made you mad today,
Tell me would you love me tomorrow?
    Please
Or would you say that you don't care,
And then leave me standing here
Like the fool who is drowning in dispair
    And screamin'
Oh no I can't let you go,
    My little girl
Because you're holding up my world,
    So I need you
    Your imitation of my walk
And the perfect way you talk
It's just a couple of the million
Things that I love about you
    So I need you
    So I need you
    So I need you
    So I need you
    I'm on my own
    I'm on my own
    I'm on my own
Oh no I can't let you go,
    My little girl
Because you're holding up my world,
    So I need you
    Your imitation of my walk
And the perfect way you talk
It's just a couple of the million things
    That I love about you
    So I need you
    So I need you
    So I need you
    So I need YOU!

why would this be about a relationship other than father and daughter? he clearly states that it's about his little girl...for those who can't see that...

Oh no I can't let you go,
    >>>My little girl<<<
Because you're holding up my world,
    So I need you

you would think if it was about a sexual relationship that he'd find something better to call her than his "little girl" with that being said...

    >>>Your imitation of my walk<<<
And the perfect way you talk
It's just a couple of the million things
    That I love about you

again...clearly points out to me that it's his little girl, and her imitation of his walk, meaning she walks like him...

he's straight forwardly saying that he needs his little girl, that she's holding up his world, and when he says "And if I made you mad today, tell me would you love me tomorrow please" if he makes her mad...or makes mistakes...he wants to know if his little girl would still love him...you can say what you want, but if i had written a song like this i know i'd mean for it to be about my little girl...not a girlfriend (for two reasons) lol on that note...enjoy the "REAL" lyrics :)
