Waiting my life for the sunshine
All of my cloudy days
You were just a prayer away
Okay Thanks for your patience
I been Dodging demons that didn't seem too dangerous
They were wearing masks and I couldn't see they faces
Things seem to disappear a tricky Situation
The idiot box got a block on people's agents
And them pokes don't seem the safest
Riding down freedom parkway
The irony
Cop pulls us over and I'm seeing how he eyeing we
So I watch his hands silently
Knowing than he could be stupid and react violently
I been sitting back bearing witness to the world
She been selling ass call it fitness to the girls
Its trippy And I know It
Once you take the lens off
The vision isn't blurry
Get a chance don't blow it
But Folks get an inch and make decisions In a hurry
I was back and forth on the plane
Tryna figure it out
Should i leave it or not
I done seasoned the pot
Halfway on the stove
Do you feel it or not
I can carry the load
If you believe it or not
And Ain't no reason to stop
And cant be sleep on the clock
Thankful lessons
Thank you for the stressing
That I didn't have to go thru if I just paid attention
Admitting my flaws that we often hate to mention
Wont make that mistake again
I'm spreading out my eggs
That one basket
Collapsed and I been on the fringe
A sudden death for the win can take you off the hinge
Roller coaster rides as you watch your mind bend
Trauma that you gotta handle if you wanna swim
Disappointment thru the years that I gotta get over
It's really still family
When we all become sober
I've been off of social media
Scrolling thru expedia
Planning out the whole thing
Dodging what they feeding us
I've been getting greedy
With my time and experience
I've been getting greedy with my time

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
