Who cares for the life we've earned?...
Who cares for the life we earned?
Someone sold all the truth you yearned,
Remember when you used to shine
And had no fear or sense of time
When it creeps up on you

You can cry now there¹s nothing to feel
No one¹s noticed our loneliness
Remember when you should have teased
And made us scream eternal time

I believed that you¹d always be here
And once you promised a life with no fear
Please don¹t break my ideals
And say what thing was always real
I was
Take me back again

General CommentNo, should have just been tacked on to OoS - that album was too damn short. Futurism should've been on there too. It's a good song, though the acoustic version on Hullabaloo was *shite*.

It's about breaking up, and at first he's pissed off with her for betraying him somehow - not being there for him - but by the end he has a sudden change of mind and asks, "Take me back again."

General CommentI personally love this song. The slower songs just appeal more to me.

Like the person above, It's about breaking up. But to me, I don't think he's mad at all. He's just having a lot of trouble getting over her. And he's saying, remember when it was great, remember when there was nothing else in the world that matterd. But it hurt, when it happened. He didn't want it to end. And he thinks that he's the best for her. And he wants what's best for her. With the "Take me back, again."

    But, it's over.

General Commenti dont think the songs about breaking up..
it sounds to me about growing old "remember when we used to shine" like when he was young and full of life
and now hes grown old and all he has are the memories
and at the end he says "take me back again" sounds like he wants to go back in time to when he was young..

    General CommentEDITED:
i dont think the songs about breaking up..
it sounds to me about growing old "remember when we used to shine" like when he was young and full of life
and now hes grown old and all he has are the memories. it also sounds like hes talking about old age when he whispers "it creeps up on you"
and at the end he says "take me back again" sounds like he wants to go back in time to when he was young..
