"After Me" as written by Paul Allen Crosby, Christopher Jon Dabaldo, David A. Novotny, Joseph Scott Sappington and Wayne A. Swinny....
Caught out alone, and I'm tryin' to be free.
Caught up in things that are inside of me.
Lookin' for something that I cannot see.
Losing my faith but I'm tryin' to believe.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin' to be free.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my :.
The world is after me.
The world is after me.
There feeding their jones, I'm reluctant to fight.
Caught out alone at the end of the night.
They're lookin' for victims and lookin' for me.
I'm blind in my eyes but I'm tryin' to see.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin' to see.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my :
The world is after me.
The whole world is after me.
Feel like I'm caught in the ocean, there's always someone to help me down.
The twisted tangled emotions, there's always someone to help me drown.
Tryin' to believe.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin' to be free.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin' to see.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith.
Tryin' to see.
Losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my faith, losing my :
The world is after me.
The whole world is after me.
The world is after me.
The whole world is after me.
The world is after me.

General CommentI dont know any background on the writer of these songs but this songs sounds christian. It sounds like it is about the daily emotions that christians battle everyday, like the whole world is after them, pulling them in, pulling them down and they slowly begin to lose their faith even when they are trying hard to see it God's way ("i'm blind in my eyes but i'm trying to see") and how they lose their faith yet they still try to believe ("losin my faith but i'm trying to believe). So pretty much every word in this song is implying how much he is struggling in his faith and such.

General CommentThis song is also featured at the ending credits for the video game for "The Thing", and the lyrics definately fit that game very well.

General CommentI think this song is talking about how the world is sometimes such a hard place to live. Sometimes it's easy to live, sometimes it's hard. The writing appears to be losing faith in all humanity.

General CommentI think this song is about trying to find yourself. When everything you know is suddenly gone, what/who are you? Maybe finding faith in yourself, as well as other things.
